This was purchased for an entryway in an office and it looks perfect. The wood is dark brown almost black. I didn't assemble it so can't comment on the ease of assembly. by kbean
the desk is very easy to put together all you have to do is attach the legs but the slide in drawer well that is a different story for some reason it would not close with the... by edna hampton
